Outnumbered is back! The kids have returned! And they're still as shockingly funny and surprisingly spot on in their views...
Okay, this third series (which started tonight) took a while to take off. It took some time to build up to the standard we're used to but it got there about a third of the way through... And it stayed there!
Once again, the should-be-leader-of-this-country Karen (played by the adorable Ramona Marquez) makes the show what it is. For someone with no previous acting experience before joining this show a few years ago she has perfect comedy timing and delivers her lines as though she's just thought them up! The exchange about the workings of the general election was poignant in particular tonight! So I guess that for the next few weeks we can rest safe in the knowledge that the funniest kids in Britain are back.
Oh, and it's got Hugh Dennis in - he's alright too.
