Philip Schofield "Comes Out Of The Broom Cupboard"

Childrens TV Legend Philip Schofield has "come out of the broom cupboard" and revealed to thousands of shocked fans that he is gay. Schofield, 47, has revealed that he is to split from BBC Producer wife Stephanie Lowe but has stated that they "are parting on good terms, with [their] childrens' feelings being the main thing to think about".

The shock announcement was made on his website yesterday evening. This comes as a massive shock to the thousands of female fans (of all ages) who see "the Silver Fox" as their ideal man. A source close to the star revealed "he has been having a relationship with another television personality for some time. I can't tell you who it is, but you'll be surprised when it comes out!" Bookmakers William Hill currently have "Dancing On Ice" judge Jason Gardiner as odds on favourite.

Others on the list include Barry Chuckle, Russell Grant and Michael Cashman MP. Although there has been no official news as to who it is. There will apparently be an official announcement made on This Morning later in the week. Philip has requested, however, that the public allow him to carry on as normal as, he states, "I'm still the same old me". Jokes are unfortunately already circulating about the news via text message and email, although all seem to be in good humour and not malicious in any way. Philip's ex-This Morning co-presenter Fern Britain tweeted the following tonight;

Seen the news about Phil? Phew, thank god its out. Bless him, hes been stressing over it for weeks.

Of course this is all a load of bullshit, being April the First and everything. If you've read this far without realising, then you don't know Phil! He loves the girls! Just ask Fern!! To clarify, Philip Schofield is NOT gay (as far as I'm aware) and is certainly not in a relationship with that evil judge bloke. So... Yeah. This was in very poor taste! LOL! *Groan* Happy April Fool's Day!
